Mandalay / Pyin Oo Lwin                           

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to the cool hill station of Pyin Oo Lwin (approx. 2 hours drive) at over 1,000 meters above sea-level, enjoys cool and pleasant weather all year round. The flower city is well known for its colonial era-buildings, pine trees, eucalyptus and silver-oak abounding in town. Transfer to hotel. Check-in hotel.

Later in the afternoon, take unique miniature stage-coaches, drawn by lively teams of horses and photo-stop around colonial-era buildings. Overnight at hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin.

 

 Pyin Oo Lwin                           

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning visit local market, National Kandawgyi Gardens & Landmarks Garden. Afternoon visit Pwe Kauk waterfall, Dat Daw Chaing waterfall, the fantastic Peik Chin Myaung Cave, inside a gushing stream twists and turns around the countless images and mini-pagodas that devout Buddhists have created. Overnight at hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin.

 

 Pyin Oo Lwin – Hsipaw (by train)

 Morning we drive to train station to get an experience of crossing over historic Gokehtaik viaduct. This structure of steel trestle construction for railway line began in 1901 and completed in 1913. Due to its technical and natural condition it's considered as a masterpiece of the world standard. At Kyaukme, leave the train and continue by car to Hsipaw. Visit Sawbwa's residence built during colonial time, observe Shan shoulder bag factory and visit famous Bawgyo Pagoda, a typically Shan-style Paya from the 14th century. Enjoy sunset beauty of town & river at Thain Taung Paya. Overnight.

 

Hsipaw – Lashio

Breakfast. An excursion along the Dokehtawaddy River by boat to see the country side. Then drive to Lashio (56 km). Arrival and visit hot spa, Quan Yin San Chinese Temple Man-Su Pagoda, which is said to be over 250 years old and the even-more-impressive 2500 year old Saasana (Pyi Lon Chanta) Paya.

 

Lashio – Mandalay

Breakfast. Morning visit Mansu Market where locals shop for fresh produce and other foodstuff. Then drive back to Mandalay.
