Hpa-an is the capital of Kayin state and famous for its’ unusual shape Mt. Zwekabin & near by natural lime stone caves. Mawlamyaing is the capital of Mon state. With its colonial buildings and its leafy tropical coastal setting, Mawlamyine has a charm of its own distinct from any other town or city. 

Day 01: Yangon – Hpa-an

Hpa-an  Early morning approx. 7 a.m, pick-up from hotel and drive to Hpa-an (approx. 6 hrs drive). En route, stop in Thaton - former capital of the Mon Kingdom. On the way visit Bayintnyi Cave with hot spring, and Kawkon Cave natural lime stone cave that the rock surface is profusely decorated with diffent kinds of clay Buddha images and votive tablets. Photo stop at scenic river-side Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 Day 02: Hpa-an – Mawlamyaing

  Early breakfast at hotel. Approx. 7 a.m, stroll through a small Karen village situated at the significant Mount Zwegabin, Kyauk Kan Latt wetland, Kawkathaung cave, Ruby cave, Khayone Cave with numerous Buddha images, stalactites and stalagmites & Saddan Cave. Then drive to Mawlamyaing by passing the bridge across the Thanlwin River. Arrival and visit Kyaikthanlan Pagoda (known as the Kipling Pagoda) and photo stop at view point. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Mawlamyaing & environs

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning (approx. ½ hr) drive to Kawhnat-Kadoe villages to see hidden antique shrines & monuments were built over a century ago by U NarAuk. He is a historical merchant who dare to compete with British traders at colonial days. The artistic works of monasteries, rest houses and ordination hall are magnificant. Afternoon back to Mawlamyaing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Mawlamyaing - Yangon

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Seindon Mibaya Kyaung - over 100 years old monastery and other interesting sites. In the afternoon, back to Yangon (approx. 8 hrs drive). Transfer to hotel.
